Maria Carolan is an award-winning writer (AFF Semifinalist, Coverfly RED LIST)  who studied Playwriting at Dartmouth and earned her MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA. When she is not roaming the halls of her 150-square foot Brooklyn apartment, Maria loves to write about the female experience.

Maria has taught screenwriting at the university and graduate levels. She currently works in the education technology space, designing narrative-driven courses.
